Judging from Scott Woods review and the subsequent commentary I am returning from my internet hiatus just in time. I posted the press release for Bob Bryan’s “Graffiti Verite 7: Random Urban Static: The Iridescent Equations of Spoken Word”” a few weeks back and they asked me to review the DVD. Today while clearing my inbox and compiling info for posts I ran across a discussion on Scott Woods Live Journal. I must say I had planned to look at the DVD tonight anyway but after reading the commentary I am anxious to have my own opinion. There are wealth of indie spoken word documentaries being produced plus wanna-be-documentaries courtesy of YouTube. I am not a film critic but I take documentaries about my art very seriously and as an artist I look at them critically. I promised to complete the review this week so check out Friday’s post to read it but you can form your own opinion buy purchasing the DVD.
