Sorry for my lapse in posts I have been building the all new www.MekkahthePoet.com plus dealing with the unexpected randomness of life. It was well worth the wait though … you may now carry me in your iPod or download pocket poems for your viewing pleasure. I am also happy to announce that I will be crawling out from behind my laptop and the comfort of my cyber anonymity – destination Charlotte, NC September 4-6.
Charlotte is where I found myself as a writer, it was impossible not to be swallowed by the waves of creative energy from the poetry community. We starved and eat well together; wrote ground breaking group pieces and got suspended from PSI … together; we shared laughs, tear, highs and lows just like family. Well family … I’m coming home for a visit! Check out the tour dates and details and stay tuned for hot ass new poems!!

- Is Hillary the right choice or is the Clinton legacy way to much of the old politics?
